A new full-time community radio station exclusively for the Grantham area launches on Monday. Gravity FM will start broadcasting on 97.2FM at 7am on Monday with breakfast show presenter James Jonathan Day.

Gravity FM FM Community Interest Company has been established as a “not for profit company”.  They obtained a five year licence to broadcast in March 2008.

The station will be operated by the citizens of Grantham area and freely and equally accessible to everyone from the Grantham area.  They aim to be on air in December 2008 on 97.2 MHz.
