3 April 2009: “Your Media, Your Tools” Dissemination Event

4 April 2009: CMA Conference & AGM

De Montfort University, Leicester

“Your Media, Your Tools” is a dissemination event for the CMA’s latest media literacy project, with presentations by some of the participating organisations, attended by the projects and other major stakeholders in the media literacy field. This event is free of charge and co-hosted by Ofcom.

Download the “Your Tools, Your Media” flyer here.

On Saturday 4th April, we have our conference, “Community Media: Beating the Recession”, and the AGM. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet people in the sector, gain expertise, share experiences and best practice and have some fun!

We have tried to keep the Saturday event as affordable as possible both for paid staff and for volunteers (see flyer here). Please note that if you only wish to attend the AGM on the Saturday from 12.15pm -1.15, pm that session is free of charge.

To book your place, please complete the booking form here. You may choose to pay either electronically or by cheque but we request that payments on the day of the event are kept to a minimum.

The timetable for both days is here.

A Google Maps link for De Montfort University is here.

If you have any queries at all about the events please do not hesitate to contact the CMA office on 0114 279 5219 or by email to conference@commedia.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you in Leicester!
