CMA Branding GuidelinesThese guidelines have been produced by the Community Media Association to explain how you should use the Community Media Association branding in your publicity. We are keen to see our logo used as much as possible, and in the correct way to raise the profile or your work as well as ours.
These guidelines explain the construction and application of the Community Media Association (CMA) brand. All publicity material from the Community Media Association including printed material, websites and multimedia should follow these guidelines unless agreed otherwise by the CMA. The CMA Brand The CMA brand consists of three elements: 1. The CMA Logo 2. The CMA Colours 3. The CMA Typefaces CMA branding by colour, typeface and logos should be continuous throughout the design for publicity from the Community Media Association. The CMA Logo The CMA logo is made up of the initials 'CMA' with the text 'Community Media Association' printed underneath.
The CMA Colours The CMA has two colours for the CMA brand. These are Purple and Pink. 1. The principle colour for the brand is purple (Pantone 2602 CVC) and should always appear on CMA publicity. - “CMA Purple” matches: C 72, M 100, Y 0, K 02. The secondary colour is pink (PANTONE 263 CVC). The pink cannot be used on its own i.e. it should always appear alongside “CMA purple”. - “CMA Pink” matches: C 11, Y 15, M 0, K 03. Other Colours are permitted in CMA PUBLICITY provided that they are used alongside the CMA’s principle colour (purple) and the brand is noticeable by the positioning and prominence of the CMA logo (in purple and white) and the use of CMA Typefaces. The CMA Typefaces There are two CMA typefaces 1. Tahoma Bold - CMA Logo text 2. Arial Narrow - Sub Header text on CMA letterhead and business cards |
