Welcome to the 'Get your Licence!' website – a resource for groups planning to apply to Ofcom's second round of Community Radio licensing.

On 16 August 2006 Ofcom published the application form and guidance for the second round of Community Radio licensing. Since then the regulator has invited applications from groups in Scotland and Northern Ireland, Southwest England and South Wales, North and North East England (incl North Yorkshire) as well as South and West Yorkshire and the Humber.

The Community Media Association is working with Ofcom, Radio Regen and licensed Community Radio stations across the United Kingdom to provide training, advice and support for groups applying to Ofcom's second round of Community Radio licensing.

 

Latest Community Radio Stations Awarded a Licence...   On 25 March 2008 Ofcom awarded 6 new Community Radio licences to applicants in the North West and East Midlands.	When can we apply? Next deadline for Applications... The next region to be invited to apply for community radio licences will be the East and Southeast (including London). Ofcom has not yet announced the expected date that stations in this region will be invited to apply.
