Training WorkshopsThe Community Media Association is working with Ofcom and licensed Community Radio stations across the United Kingdom to provide training workshops for groups applying to Ofcom's second round of Community Radio licensing. Please visit again in the future to keep up-to-date about the Community Radio Workshops taking place across the country... There are no training workshops scheduled at present. All future workshops will be advertised on the CMA's homepage, via the CMA email lists and on this page. PAST EVENTS Central Birmingham - 28th November 2007 TheCMA and Ofcom will be holding a 'Community Radio Licence Application'workshop in Birmingham for applicants in the West and East Midlands andLincolnshire. Lincoln - 4th December 2007 TheCMA and Ofcom will be holding a 'Community Radio LicenceApplication'workshop at Lincoln University for applicants in the West and EastMidlands and Lincolnshire. BOOK NOW! Preston - 12th September 2007 The CMA and Ofcom held a workshop for applicants in North Wales and the North West of England on 12th September 2007.. Sheffield - 25th April 2007 A 'Get Your Licence' workshop for applicants in South and West Yorkshire and the Humber was held by the Community Media Association and Sheffield Live on 25th April 2007 in Sheffield. Middlesbrough - 1st March 2007 A workshop for applicants in the North and North East of England was held in Middlesbrough by Ofcom on 1st March 2007. London - 25th November 2006 A special, 'How to apply for a Community Radio Licence workshop was held at the Community Media Association Festival and AGM on 25th November 2006 at the City University in London. A workshop for applicants in Northern Ireland was held at the Ofcom office in Belfast on 6th November. Cardiff - 10th October 2006 A workshop for applicants in Wales was held at the Ofcom Office in Cardiff on 10th October. Glasgow - 5th October 2006 A workshop for applicants in Scotland was held at the Ofcom office in Glasgow on 5th October The first Community Radio licence application workshop was held in Bristol on 30th September. |
