Ofcom invites grant applications for the Community Radio Fund

Ofcom has today invited community radio stations to apply for a grant from the first round of community radio funding in 2008/09.

The closing date for applications will is four weeks later on 7 May 2008.

The Fund has been established to help fund the core costs of running a community radio station and grants can only be made to community radio licensees who are broadcasting under a community radio licence (and not an RSL, for example).
