Essential Radio Skills Workshop, Sunday 23rd June, Bristol

Hi SW Members & Supporters

I am really excited to share the success of our last couple of workshops. Both the Podcast Workshop and the Essential Radio Skills Workshops were sold out. We met a fantastic group of budding, talented and dynamic Podcasters and broadcasters.

Every workshop we discover more and more people travellling from all over the UK to attend, so far we have had people come from Manchester, Cornwall, Milton Keynes, Surrey, Dorset, London, Cardiff and even further a field. The ERS Workshop is literally the only one of its kind in the UK.

With that in mind I am really pleased to announce we will be having another Podcast Workshop in June, date tbc, and the next Workshop in Essential Radio Skills will take place on Sunday 23 June at 2-4.30pm.

The ERS Workshop is a very rare opportunity to get hands on experience learning to produce, present and engineer a radio show with a chance to drive a radio desk, present & interview. . Its on Sun 23rd June 2-4.30pm. With limited places at just £60 each its advised to book soon.

This workshop is taking place in a real radio studio. You will learn how to use the desk, how to produce, research and basic interviewing techniques, with always something to do and with everyone taking turns at all the different role of Producing, anchor presenter, co-host, reporter, interviewee and engineer/technician. Please do come and join me for this fun and bumper packed workshop. All are welcome, young, old, male, female everyone can come!

Taking place at:
Ujima Radio
1 Silver St

Tickets cost £60 per person. To secure a place payment is needed in advance. Places are limited so will be on a 1st come 1st served basis but if popular we will run another workshop. This price is already far cheaper than any other course of this kind (if there are even any) so I’m sorry we cant offer any concessions (since discovered this is only workshop of its kind).
