The Digital Switchover Help Scheme is working with a number of community radio stations and Hospital Radio stations  to help raise awareness of the switch to digital TV and get the Help Scheme’s key messages out to the population reached by the community radio stations.

This will be achieved through the production and broadcast of Community Service Announcements (CSAs), live (or pre-recorded) interviews and packaged reports during the broadcast period leading up to the first Digital Switchover date and beyond.

The  announcements made by community radio partners to date may be found here.

The target population includes people who may be eligible for help, and/or people who may know of someone who is eligible for help (such as a carer, friend, neighbour, local service provider etc).

The Switchover Help Scheme is run by the BBC under an agreement with the Government to help older and disabled people make the change to digital television.  More details here.
