Job Vacancy: Creative Skills Coordinator

Salary: £25,079 (one year, fixed term contract)
37 hours per week

Bristol-based arts charity Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) are seeking a highly organised media arts facilitator who is passionate about contributing to cultural innovation and supporting young people to become arts producers and activists.

The individual will coordinate and deliver ‘Curating Activism in Communities’, a skills-development programme supporting young people to realise their creative potential.

This post is ideal for a practitioner who has experience of coordinating arts programmes and a keen interest in exploring the possibilities and opportunities of working with live and open data. Applicants should enjoy working with young people and thrive on working collaboratively and creatively.

Curating Activism is a Digital R+D Fund Project with NESTA, Arts & Humanities Research Council and Arts Council England. Project partners are University of the West of England and IBM.

Job Vacancy: Fundraiser & Marketing Manager

Salary: Level 2 – Level 5 depending on experience, £27,324 – £29,390 pro rata
22.5 hours per week (3 days)

Bristol-based arts charity Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) is seeking a dynamic fundraiser with a proven track record. If you’re highly organised and you love media arts and working with people, you could be the individual we’re looking for to enthusiastically promote what we do. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery of KWMC’s business plan by maximising income generated through fundraising and rental of the building.

The successful candidate will devise and implement a fundraising strategy, set up and manage a Friends’ scheme to encourage sustainable donor giving, and develop campaigns and associated marketing materials to maximise income from rental of managed offices, building and hire of facilities.
