In October’s re.Lit we’ve got a harvest home with the cream of the crop of wordsmiths, musicians, writers, performers, actors, producers and a magician – and all kinds and any combinations of the above – another unique selection of material newly uploaded to the Radio Wildfire website and sent to us on cd in this month’s re.Lit on Radio Wildfire.
There’ll be Poetry and spoken word with music and soundscape from The Little Typists (England), Stephen Mead (New York), the duo Kinsame (France), Huw Parsons and his collaborators (Wales) and Albarz (England).
There’ll be poetry unaccompanied from Sarah James and Sarah Harrison.
There’ll be talk of the Showcase Collective when we talk to Roy Mcfarlane about the poetry group that he’s been involved in developing with Jean Binta Breeze.
This month’s contribution from the Bunbury Banter Theatre Company is A Fresh Start by Simon Temple a play from their Noir series, and there’ll be another short playlet from Andy Kirk performed together with Tony Judge.
And there’ll be music from Indianapolis’ Surreal Realm, and songs from poet and songwriter Sally Goldsmith.
Plus we’ll be looking at cd tracks and material from our archives giving a selection that we can guarantee that you won’t hear anywhere else.
The show is presented as always by poet and performer Dave Reeves.
