RadioTalk: Community Media Association Conference

In the Radio Academy’s RadioTalk podcast, Paul Robinson asks what the future holds for community radio. Paul reports from the Community Media Association Conference held on Saturday 14th June at De Montfort University in Leicester, where he talks to the CMA’s Chair Dom Chambers about his vision for the future of super-local media and why community radio’s time has come.

Paul also catches up with Rupert Kirkham from Swindon Viewpoint (one of the pioneers from the 1980s), Liz Hardwick, CMA Council member from the Digienable training consultancy, and Martin Steers from Scout Radio and also an active member of the CMA.
