Ofcom is preparing a public consultation on community radio to seek views on its licensing and technical policy. There will be a chance to respond to the consultation later this year.
As a first step Ofcom is informally collecting views from the sector on current challenges and how these might be addressed. As part of this, the CMA is conducting a short survey.
This survey will run for four weeks.
There will also be an opportunity to speak to representatives of Ofcom about the forthcoming consultation at the Community Media Conference to be held on Saturday 10th September at Birmingham City University – details and booking here. Early-bird tickets available until Friday 12th August.
